Definition of Attractive Nuisance



In the law of tort, nuisance means doing something wrong. An attractive nuisance is something which is harmful in one’s property. If the person who got harmed in someone’s property, that person can convict the owner of the property of that harm and the courts will consider it under premises liability.

 


Any dangerous animal which is not tamed can cause harm to the new person. The owner of the land may get held liable for any harmful injury to the passer-by. Any attractive thing which later would be dangerous to the children in someone’s property and causes harm would be held liable by the court as that danger puts their safety in danger.
