Definition of Conciliation



Conciliation in law means to resolve the dispute between two parties to reach the settlement outside the court. Conciliation is also known as Alternate Dispute Resolution commonly known as ADR. Conciliation is mostly done by the third party.

 


This is the method of settling the disputes between the two or more parties outside the court and it is also known as outside court settlement process. Many courts give the option of outside court settlement to save the time of the court. This settlement includes negotiations and arguments between the two parties.
