Definition of Humanistic Perspective



In management sciences, the humanistic perspective attributes to the importance of understanding of the people’s attitude, behaviour and their needs. This approach put an emphasis on the importance of how people interact and have relations with others in an organization.


A certain level of empathy is needed for people to say, in what circumstances they are working, meanwhile they should be recognized by the organization that they matter. Their presences make a difference. The higher management would deal with employees with dignity and respect with a humanistic perspective.


To conclude, expressing respect, honour and dignity for employees would certainly increase their motivation level and leads to higher efficiency and productivity.
