Definition of Legal Realism

Legal realism is a humanistic approach. In legal term, this approach is taken by the judges generically as the law must be specific and justice should be given in a real manner but some judges are of the view that law must be in accordance to the social interest of the society as law sometimes becomes the hard fact for its citizens and this approach is also called to be a socialist approach.

This theory ignites that law must be simple and according to the will of the citizens and society at large. Law must be formal but not that much rigid that hinders the interests of the people.
