Definition of Probate Court



It is the area of the judicial system which deals with the matters of wills, guardianship as well as helps those who are mentally week.

Probate cases are been heard in probate court where the court transfers property from the deceased person to the actual one who is the heir of that property. Probate courts help to deal with the cases in benefit of beneficiaries and other entities.

 


The authority of the probate court is restricted to maintain the validity of wills and guardianships. It administers the problems faced with the deceased persons.

The case where these cases are heard is known as probate court and the officer dealing with the matter is a probate officer.
