Definition of Pull Strategy

Pull strategy is a marketing strategy where companies increase (pull) the demand for their products among the customers. Through this strategy, the company makes its customers ask more for the product. This makes the retailers store the product to meet the demand of the customers.

In this strategy, companies start directly selling the products to their customers to make more purchases. Pull strategy is developed through several methods like:

  • Social media marketing
  • Word of mouth
  • Email marketing
  • Outdoor marketing
