Definition of Quasi Contract



The word quasi means partly or seemingly. Quasi-contract means the contracts which are done partially. The contract is the term where two or more parties do agree on certain terms which have terms like, offer, where there are acceptance and consideration in that contract. These are the main terms used for a contract.

 


A quasi-contract is a contract where there is an absence of an agreement between the parties. A quasi-contract is always existed by the court’s order. It is not done based on the contract of the parties. This contract is also known as implied-in-law contracts.
