Definition of Regression Line

In statistics, the term regression line is simply the line that is best used for predicting a set of data. The main purpose of this line is to narrate the correlation of dependent variable Y and with many other independent variables X. For planning and doing some strategy many companies on a bigger level usually employ regression to predict a lot of things like sales, inventories, prices of commodities, and many more. There will be two regression lines if we consider two variables, and also we will consider two equations for these two regression lines.
