Definition of Suboptimization



Suboptimization is the stage where the organization puts effort into improving one component of the business but at the expense of ignoring other components of the business. Due to suboptimization, the business could not reach the position where it wants to.

 


Example of Suboptimization:

Company management did not include the Chief HR officer in review meetings which affect the overall utilization of company resources.
