Zappos.com has a unique company culture. The CEO, Tony Hsieh, believes that extraordinary customer service is the key to keep customers coming back. He stated that sometimes loyal customers get complementary upgraded to overnight shipping, stating that an order placed at midnight could surprising show up on the customer’s doorstep 8 hours later. Tony also believes that it is important to share the company’s culture with other businesses. Zappos offers affordable seminars where other businesses can tailor the seminar to exactly what they are looking for. Tony also believes that it is important to think about what he wants the brand to be like in 10 to 20 years as opposed to one or two years like most companies.
